Αποτύπωση της ποιότητας των ελληνικών σκληρών σιτηρών της Δυτικής, Κεντρικής και Βόρειας Ελλάδας και συσχέτιση των ποιοτικών χαρακτηριστικών τους με την γεωγραφική προέλευση (Master thesis)

Quality data of 10462 samples of Greek durum wheat received from EURIMAC pasta industry during the years 2016 - 2019 from areas of Western, Central and Northern Greece were examined statistically in this project. EURIMAC purchases Greek durum wheat from producers and traders in accordance with quality and price agreements and collects quality information such as moisture content, color (yellowness), specific weight, protein content, ash content, quantity and quality of gluten as well as % percentages of blackpoints, holes, broken, soft and floury granules from each sample taken. The statistical analysis of the data resulted in a reflection of the quality of Greek durum wheat for the years 2016 - 2019 and the possible correlations of geographical origin at prefecture level & quality characteristics were studied. Meteorological data of prefectures during the cultivation seasons 2016 - 2019 were also included in the results and the possible correlations of climatic parameters - quality characteristics were investigated.
