Composting it’s a kind of process which appears easy, but it’s not. If someone ignores the basic principle of compost, he/she will have a lot of mistakes. Bacteria, fungus, in general microorganisms inside of their biological circle, produce compost, which is a special fertilizer. The right mix of material it depends from the division of C/N or more simply by the proportion of “coffee” and “green” materials. Materials, every pale mass from weeding and clipping, post-harvest scraps, organic kitchen waste, plant processing residues, mineral materials, digested compost; vegetable matter can be used to make compost. For the preparation of successful compost, good ventilation is required, to achieve this we use bulky materials, if the compost is not ventilated then unpleasant odors are produced, the correct humidity is a determining factor and should be between 50% and 60%.The correct size of the material contributes significantly to the rotting process. A pile to be properly activated must have a temperature of 50 ° C. The acidity must be between pH 5.5-7.5 pH, if removed from these limits there are ways to restore it. Mixed bins, Derek bins, digesters, Green Johanna, E.Bokashi are the most widespread bins. There are also composting systems with the use of earthworms, these produce the “worm soil” which is a complete fertilizer. Large composting systems are placed in a cold or warm pile. Composting boxes, kitchen buckets and underground composting are also used as storage facility. Compost is widely used from small pots in the house to the mass production in the field, even in the garden of the house. Like everything in life, compost has its advantages and disadvantages.
