The growth of the industry of Leisure Parks comes to add new data in the activities of entertainment in the European domain, being simultaneously the continuation of the significances of "green tourism" and ''return in the nature”. In the USA, the industry of Theme Parks began developing in 1955 with the creation of Theme parks from which the most famous is Disneyland. Comparatively with the other countries, Greece has characteristically delayed in the growth of Theme Parks, as only in the past few years emerges some interest for the growth of Leisure parks, which not only constitute source of employment but at the same time projection and promotion of tourism and industry. Both the central authority and the local self-government began to show interest in this new industry of recreation and many times over they are directly invoiced, since the social - economic repercussions, so much in country as much in regional level, are significant. The operation of Theme Parks is connected with the sense of sustainable growth as they have direct relation with the protection of environment and the ecosystem due to the character of the investment and the relative equipment. The existence of a Theme Park enriches the tourist potential of a region and strengthens the Brand name, equally in national and international level.
