Educational policy as it is in the era of the economic crisis, with immigration expanding and globalization dominating, as well as improving the quality of education as parameters that reinforce the economy of states, monopolizes the interest of governments in all states and international organizations that guide the strategies being pursued. The quality of the educational project is directly related to its assessment as a feedback and improvement mechanism at national and international level. The purpose of this study is to investigate the Greek educational policy in relation to the evaluation of educational work in school education. It also analyzes the way in which it is influenced by European education policy and international organizations, through the action of action by the competent authorities that shape and implement policy decisions. There is a need to develop new valuation practices and to consolidate an evaluation culture in the Greek school. Medium and long-term objectives are needed to decentralize education at regional level and to transform schools into autonomous economic units based on the increased cooperation of all members of the school community as well as on linking schools with the community.
