The purpose of this study is to investigate, study and assess the dietary habits of primary school children as well as the factors that influence their compliance with a Mediterranean diet model. The comparative study is conducted on a sample of 21 children aged between 7 and 11 years of age. In particular, following a parental consensus, a questionnaire is completed, which aims to obtain information about anthropometric measurements (height, weight, fat%) and child's eating habits. Also, a monthly diet plan was prepared and then was studied whether some of the children's habits have been changed as well as their measurements. The exported data underwent a statistical analysis and the results showed that children aged 7-11 cannot follow a Mediterranean diet program. The innovation offered by this study lies in focusing on the comparison of sample measurements on the dietary habits of primary school childrenbefore and after being given the Mediterranean diet model and how much they respond to it.
