Διατροφική αξιολόγηση και υγεία της τρίτης ηλικίας στον Δήμο Θεσσαλονίκης (Bachelor thesis)

The purpose of this paper is to study the health and nutritional status of the elderly in Western Thessaloniki. The research was based on a sample of 500 individuals, mainly from the city's KAPI, over 60 years old. The methodology that was used, was that of completing questionnaires, taking a 24-hour nutritional recall, measuring anthropometric features, and blood pressure. The data was collected from March to May 2018. Data analysis was done using the Spss Statistics 18.0 statistical program. To test the correlation between qualitative variables, the non-square (x2) test was used while the Independent Samples t-Test method was used to test the difference in values.
