The development in Information and Communication Technologies ( ICT ) has led to a new multidimensional reality which has influenced education and in particular the key sector of school administration contributing to the process of organization. In this context, this project intends to examine the utilization of ICT in school administration of Primary education in Irakleio Prefecture. For the needs of this survey, a questionnaire was created and was electronically distributed to the headteachers of primary schools and kindergartens in Irakleio Prefecture. In this manner, the opinions and the knowledge of the headteachers related to the use of ICT at schools and their infrastructure in terms of materials and equipment were examined. The answers of the headteachers emphasize to a great extent the importance of the use of ICT during the implementation of administrative processes. Furthermore, it is proved, according to their frequent use that ICT have become an integral part of school administration so it is imperative that the principals be continuously trained and also the infrastructure must be supported.
