Αξιοποίηση των ΤΠΕ στη διοίκηση των σχολικών μονάδων πρωτοβάθμιας εκπαίδευσης. (Master thesis)

The development in Information and Communication Technologies ( ICT ) has led to a new multidimensional reality which has influenced education and in particular the key sector of school administration contributing to the process of organization. In this context, this project intends to examine the utilization of ICT in school administration of Primary education in Irakleio Prefecture. For the needs of this survey, a questionnaire was created and was electronically distributed to the headteachers of primary schools and kindergartens in Irakleio Prefecture. In this manner, the opinions and the knowledge of the headteachers related to the use of ICT at schools and their infrastructure in terms of materials and equipment were examined. The answers of the headteachers emphasize to a great extent the importance of the use of ICT during the implementation of administrative processes. Furthermore, it is proved, according to their frequent use that ICT have become an integral part of school administration so it is imperative that the principals be continuously trained and also the infrastructure must be supported.

| Abstract: | Η ανάπτυξη των Τεχνολογιών της Πληροφορίας και των Επικοινωνιών (ΤΠΕ), έχει οδηγήσει σε μια νέα πολυδιάστατη πραγματικότητα, η οποία έχει επηρεάσει το χώρο της Εκπαίδευσης και ιδιαίτερα το νευραλγικό τομέα της διοίκησης σχολικής μονάδας, συμβάλλοντας στο έργο της οργάνωσης. Στο πλαίσιο αυτό η εργασία έχει σκοπό να διερευνήσει την αξιοποίηση των ΤΠΕ στη διοίκηση των σχολικών μονάδων Πρωτοβάθμιας Εκπαίδευσης του νομού Ηρακλείου. Για τις ανάγκες της έρευνας κατασκευάστηκε ερωτηματολόγιο που διανεμήθηκε ηλεκτρονικά σε διευθυντές των Δημοτικών σχολείων και Νηπιαγωγείων του νομού. Κατ’ αυτόν τον τρόπο, διερευνήθηκαν οι απόψεις και οι γνώσεις των διευθυντών σχετικά με την χρήση των ΤΠΕ στα σχολεία και η ικανοποίησή τους από την υλικοτεχνική υποδομή των σχολείων. Οι απαντήσεις των διευθυντών αναδεικνύουν σε μεγάλο βαθμό τη σημαντικότητα της αξιοποίησης των ΤΠΕ κατά την διεκπεραίωση των διοικητικών τους εργασιών. Επιπλέον, αποδεικνύεται, με βάση τη συχνότητα της χρήσης τους, ότι οι ΤΠΕ αποτελούν πλέον αναπόσπαστο κομμάτι της σχολικής διοίκησης, γι’ αυτό καθίσταται επιτακτική ανάγκη η συνεχής επιμόρφωση των διευθυντών αλλά και η υποστήριξη της υλικοτεχνικής υποδομής των σχολικών μονάδων The development in Information and Communication Technologies ( ICT ) has led to a new multidimensional reality which has influenced education and in particular the key sector of school administration contributing to the process of organization.
