Abstract: Marketing is a science that emerged in the early twentieth century, when the total world production of goods and services were not sufficient to meet the needs of consumption. Thus, all efforts were focused on improving the growth of total production by increasing productivity. Essentially there was a disposal problem and the functions of marketing were exclusively limited to advertising products.
