Συστήματα τηλεδιασκέψεων: συγκριτική μελέτη (Bachelor thesis)

Distance education is nothing new, but it has been used for many years. However, the coronavirus pandemic has had the effect of drastically changing the situation in most countries. Thus, in an effort to avoid the spread of the virus, people have come to know and use some video conferencing systems which have made it easier for them to either carry out their work remotely, or to attend classes and seminars. The latter mainly concerns the pupils and students but also the teachers themselves who connected and provided the former with the so-called distance education. Technological education is directly linked to the educational process but also to professional relationships in Greece and abroad. In short, the purpose of the research is to list as many video conferencing systems as possible that served the world during the pandemic, while conducting a comparative study between them, in order to analyze the advantages or disadvantages of each platform. Finally, some conclusions will be presented as well as useful information for the future of tele-education.

| Abstract: | Η τηλε-εκπαίδευση δεν είναι κάτι καινούργιο, αλλά χρησιμοποιείται εδώ και πολλά χρόνια. Ωστόσο, η πανδημία του κορονοϊού είχε σαν αποτέλεσμα να αλλάξει άρδην την κατάσταση στις περισσότερες χώρες. Έτσι, στην προσπάθεια αποφυγής της διασποράς του ιού, ο κόσμος γνώρισε και χρησιμοποίησε ορισμένα συστήματα τηλεδιασκέψεων τα οποία τον διευκόλυναν είτε να εκτελέσει την εργασία του εξ αποστάσεως, είτε να παρακολουθήσει μαθήματα και σεμινάρια. Το τελευταίο αφορά κυρίως τους μαθητές και φοιτητές αλλά και τους ίδιους τους εκπαιδευτικούς οι οποίοι συνδέονταν και παρείχαν στους πρώτους τη λεγόμενη τηλεκπαίδευση. Η τεχνολογική εκπαίδευση συνδέεται άμεσα με την εκπαιδευτική διαδικασία αλλά και με τις επαγγελματικές σχέσεις στην Ελλάδα και στο εξωτερικό. Εν ολίγοις, σκοπός της έρευνας είναι να απαριθμήσει όσο το δυνατόν περισσότερα συστήματα τηλεδιασκέψεων τα οποία εξυπηρέτησαν τον κόσμο στην περίοδο της πανδημίας, πραγματοποιώντας παράλληλα μια συγκριτική μελέτη ανάμεσα τους, ούτως ώστε να αναλυθούν τα προτερήματα ή τα μειονεκτήματα της κάθε πλατφόρμας. Τέλος, θα παρουσιαστούν ορισμένα συμπεράσματα αλλά και χρήσιμες πληροφορίες για το μέλλον της τηλε-εκπαίδευσης. Distance education is nothing new, but it has been used for many years.
