It is true that in today's scientific community, where the abundance of information and knowledge has flooded the world wide web, the need to present, document, and clarify the primary sources of every scientific and research work becomes imperative. In this light, the creation of bibliographic models is also based on the use of which ensures the intellectual property and rights of the author while at the same time, they protect against the phenomenon of plagiarism. As is well known, there is a multitude of bibliographic models available that vary, correlate, and are addressed accordingly to each scientific discipline without necessarily being binding. In this work, we will examine through a thorough research in 240 scientific journals in the field of library and information science, the bibliographic standards that were used in the period of the last three years, the set of preferences of the standards of the authors, the way to in which each template presents the information that constitutes the access point for locating the respective article.

| Abstract: | Είναι αλήθεια ότι στην σημερινή επιστημονική κοινότητα όπου η πληθώρα των πληροφοριών και γνώσεων έχει κατακλύσει τον παγκόσμιο ιστό, καθίσταται επιτακτική η ανάγκη παρουσίασης, τεκμηρίωσης και διασαφήνισης των πρωτογενών πηγών κάθε επιστημονικής και ερευνητικής εργασίας. Υπό αυτό το πρίσμα βασίζεται και η δημιουργία των βιβλιογραφικών μοντέλων που η χρήση τους διασφαλίζει την πνευματική ιδιοκτησία και τα δικαιώματα του συγγραφέα, ενώ ταυτοχρόνως προστατεύουν από το φαινόμενο της λογοκλοπής. Όπως είναι γνωστό υπάρχει πληθώρα διαθέσιμων βιβλιογραφικών μοντέλων που ποικίλει, συσχετίζεται και απευθύνεται ανάλογα σε κάθε επιστημονικό κλάδο χωρίς απαραίτητα αυτό να είναι δεσμευτικό. Στην παρούσα εργασία θα εξετάσουμε μέσα από μία εμπεριστατωμένη έρευνα σε 240 επιστημονικά περιοδικά του πεδίου της βιβλιοθηκονομίας και της επιστήμης της πληροφόρησης ,τα βιβλιογραφικά πρότυπα τα οποία χρησιμοποιήθηκαν στο χρονικό εύρος των τριών τελευταίων χρόνων ,το σύνολο των προτιμήσεων των προτύπων των συγγραφέων, τον τρόπο με τον οποίο κάθε πρότυπο παρουσιάζει την πληροφορία που αποτελεί και το σημείο πρόσβασης για τον εντοπισμό του εκάστοτε άρθρου.
