Τουρισμός και υποδομές πρόσβασης για ανθρώπους με αναπηρία (Bachelor thesis)

For the last five decades there have been major trends and development expertise in the field of tourism and sport along. These two sectors have evolved to the most profitable industries in the global economic scene. Around the same time began to make use of the term sport tourism in order to describe the special form of tourism that combines the sport. The Sports tourism is a modern phenomenon, as only recently begun to be treated as part of tourism and sports industry.
The Sports tourism is a special form of quality tourism which gives the opportunity to invest in a huge market potential but also a value-added success in the tourism product through development, diversification and upgrading. The important geographical position of Greece, the great state of the art stages that created because of the Olympic Games, coupled with very good weather conditions and high levels of hospitality, making it an ideal destination to rest, relaxation and proper preparation of athletes. In this work an extensive presentation of the concepts of leisure and economic value. Moreover defined sports tourism and the forms and distinctions, and models of sports tourism.
It discusses the contribution of international sporting events in the development of sports tourism and the impact on the hotel and industrial employment and the economy generally. The most important part of work addresses issues and ways of development of sports tourism in Greece, the need for international cooperation for this purpose and the urgent need for strategic development. Finally, the present value of being a European sport policy on this issue

| Abstract: | Εδώ και πέντε δεκαετίες σημειώθηκαν σημαντικές τάσεις εξειδίκευσης και ανάπτυξης στο χώρο του τουρισμού και παράλληλα του αθλητισμού. Οι δυο αυτοί τομείς εξελίχθηκαν στις πιο κερδοφόρες βιομηχανίες του παγκόσμιου οικονομικού στερεώματος. Περίπου την ίδια χρονική περίοδο άρχισε να γίνεται χρήση του όρου αθλητικός τουρισμός με σκοπό να περιγράφει η ειδική μορφή τουρισμού που συνδύαζε και την αθλητική δραστηριότητα. Ο αθλητικός τουρισμός θεωρείται σύγχρονο φαινόμενο, καθώς μόλις τα τελευταία χρόνια άρχισε να αντιμετωπίζεται ως αυτόφωτο κομμάτι της τουριστικής και της αθλητικής βιομηχανίας.
Ο αθλητικός τουρισμός είναι μια ειδική μορφή ποιοτικού τουρισμού η οποία δίδει την ευκαιρία επένδυσης σε μια τεράστια δυναμική αγορά αλλά και ταυτόχρονα επιτυχίας μιας προστιθέμενης αξίας στο τουριστικό προϊόν μέσω της ανάπτυξης, της διαφοροποίησης και της αναβάθμισης.
Η σημαντική γεωγραφική θέση της Ελλάδας, τα μεγάλα υπερσύγχρονα στάδια τα οποία δημιούργησε εξαιτίας των ολυμπιακών αγώνων, σε συνδυασμό με τις πολύ καλές καιρικές συνθήκες και τα υψηλά επίπεδα φιλοξενίας, την καθιστούν ως ένα ιδανικό προορισμό ηρεμίας, χαλάρωσης και σωστής προετοιμασίας των αθλητών. Στην εργασία γίνεται εκτενής παρουσίαση των εννοιών του ελεύθερου χρόνου και της οικονομικής της αξίας. Επιπλέον ορίζεται ο αθλητικός τουρισμός και οι μορφές και διακρίσεις του, καθώς και τα μοντέλα αθλητικού τουρισμού. Αναλύεται η συμβολή της διοργάνωσης διεθνών αθλητικών διοργανώσεων στην ανάπτυξη του αθλητικού τουρισμού, καθώς και οι επιπτώσεις στην ξενοδοχειακή και βιομηχανική απασχόληση αλλά και γενικότερα στην οικονομία. Το σημαντικότερο μέρος της εργασίας καλύπτει θέματα και τρόπους ανάπτυξης του αθλητικού τουρισμού στην Ελλάδα, την ανάγκη δημιουργίας διεθνών συνεργασιών για το σκοπό αυτό αλλά και την επιτακτική ανάγκη στρατηγικής ανάπτυξης. Τέλος παρουσιάζεται η αξία της ύπαρξης μιας ευρωπαϊκής αθλητικής πολιτικής για το θέμα αυτό.
