Ενέσιμα εμφυτεύματα INJECTABLE IMPLANTS (Bachelor thesis)

Over the last few decades, injectable implants have become dominant in the field of Aesthetic Medicine. These are chemicals that are inserted into the skin with a needle in order to improve aesthetic problems for the best appearance of the face. They can be used to correct wrinkles and grooves, to increase the volume of the lips and cheekbones, to shape the contour of the face, to improve the appearance of the nose (bloodless rhinoplasty), liquid face lift, correction of acne or wound scars et al. The two main types of injectable substances used are botulinum toxin type A and dermal fillers. In addition, another injectable technique is mesotherapy that uses injections of vitamins, enzymes, hormones and plant extracts to rejuvenate and tighten the skin, as well as remove excess fat. The effects of most cosmetic injections are temporary and require regular treatments to maintain the desired effect

| Abstract: | Κατά τις τελευταίες δεκαετίες τα ενέσιμα εμφυτεύματα έχουν λάβει κυρίαρχο λόγο στο τομέα της Αισθητικής Ιατρικής. Πρόκειται για χημικές ουσίες οι οποίες εισάγονται στο δέρμα με βελόνα με σκοπό την βελτίωση αισθητικών προβλημάτων για την καλύτερη εμφάνιση του προσώπου. Μπορούν να χρησιμοποιηθούν για την διόρθωση ρυτίδων και αυλάκων, για την αύξηση όγκου στα χείλη και τα ζυγωματικά, την διαμόρφωση του περιγράμματος του προσώπου, την βελτίωση της μύτης, για την ανόρθωση, διόρθωση ουλών ακμής ή τραύματος και πολλά άλλα. Οι δύο κύριοι τύποι ενέσιμων ουσιών που χρησιμοποιούνται είναι η αλλαντική τοξίνη τύπου Α και τα δερματικά πληρωτικά. Επιπροσθέτως, μια άλλη ενέσιμη τεχνική είναι η μεσοθεραπεία που αποσκοπεί στην έγχυση βιταμινών, ενζύμων, ορμονών και φυτικών εκχυλισμάτων για την αναζωογόνηση και σύσφιξη του δέρματος, καθώς και την λιπόλυση. Τα αποτελέσματα των περισσότερων καλλυντικών ενέσιμων είναι προσωρινά και απαιτούνται τακτικές θεραπείες για να διατηρηθεί το επιθυμητό αποτέλεσμα.
