Introduction: In recent years, conflicts in the workplace and the ways in which the leader manages them have been investigated by a large number of researchers, who seek to find out what are the factors that make people conflict with each other, and if the decisions taken by the manager are guided by justice and meritocracy, because it has been found that opposite manipulations lead to a reduction in employee productivity and in the long run creates serious physical and mental problems. The purpose of this dissertation: is to examine whether the level of fairness and meritocracy in the choices of the director of the health unit affects the way he manages the confrontations / conflicts between his employees. Material and method: For the elaboration of the study and after personal communication and licensing, a research tool was used by Dr. Konstantopoulos Nikolaos, which covered the questions under investigation. Results: It was found that the shaping of the working climate of justice by the boss as well as his moral status, the fair decisions he makes and the unfavorable attitude towards him seem to affect the systematic treatment of labor conflicts between employees. Also, the morale of the boss as well as the rational evaluation of his subordinates, seem to influence the disengagement of the boss from the conflict situation. Finally, the impeccable behavior of the boss, the rational evaluation of employees and the lack of favoritism affect the calm treatment of conflicts in which the boss himself is a part. What does not seem to affect the way in which disputes between employees are managed are the meritocratic decisions of the boss.
