Διερεύνηση του ρόλου του σχολικού νοσηλευτή στην πρωτοβάθμια εκπαίδευση (Master thesis)

Introduction: This paper begins by outlining its institution primary education, the institution of primary health care and nursing and ends up in the connecting link of the above which is the school nurse. Purpose: The purpose of this research is to investigate the role of the school nurse in the primary. Material - Method: The sample of the research was the employees of the primary school education in schools of the North Aegean and Central region of Macedonia. A questionnaire was used as a tool for data collection which included the general part concerning their demographics respondents and the special section on the role of the school nurse in primary education. Results: In relation to teachers, school nurses tended to have higher percentage of agreement on the questions in the specific part of the questionnaire. Also a higher percentage of agreement on the questions of the special part the employees of the North Aegean region had a questionnaire from them workers of the region of Central Macedonia. Finally it was found that in schools that there was a school nurse, employees tended to agree more with questions about his role, compared to employees in which he did not there was a school nurse. Conclusions: For Greece, school nursing is a recent science but and necessary for all primary schools. The role of school nursing is crucial and of paramount importance especially to students.
