Η Επίδραση του κυκλικού ωραρίου στην εργασιακή εξουθένωση και εργασιακή ικανοποίηση των εργαζομένων του Γενικού Νοσοκομείου Βέροιας (Master thesis)

In the present study, the effects of rotating shifts on job satisfaction and job burnout of the health staff of Veroia’s General Hospital was investigated. The study involved a total of 88 health workers, of whom 19 were working only morning shits and the remaining 69 were working on rotating shifts. In order to conduct the research a questionnaire was used as a tool which investigated the effects of rotating shifts on job satisfaction and job burnout of the employees. According to the results of the study many responders stated that they are mild satisfied from their jobs. Regarding the job burnout most responders stated mild emotional exhaustion (43,2%). In terms of personal achievements most employees have low levels (71,6%) while according to the results the number of night shifts affects the personal achievements of the health workers. At last according to the study’s results many employees had high levels of depersonalization (60,2%) while also the number of night shifts it seems that have a negative effect on them.
