The purpose of this dissertation is to study and analyze skin cancer on
medical, nutritional and aesthetic level. As far as, the medical level is
concerned, the aim is to update the effects of sun radiation on the skin, the causes of skin cancer, its types, as well as its prevention and treatment. As regards the nutritional level, the present assignment is based on researches that have done not only in specific foods and nutrients, but also in various diets which prevent skin cancer or help to improve the overall health of human being as well as its skin. On the aesthetic level, it is based on skin repair and its regeneration after various invasive methods that may leave some types of scarring.

| Abstract: | Ο σκοπός της παρούσας πτυχιακής εργασίας είναι η μελέτη και η ανάλυση του καρκίνου του δέρματος τόσο σε ιατρικό όσο σε διατροφικό και αισθητικό επίπεδο. Όσον αφορά το ιατρικό επίπεδο, στόχος είναι η ενημέρωση των επιπτώσεων που προκαλεί η ηλιακή ακτινοβολία στο δέρμα, των αιτιών του καρκίνου του δέρματος, τα είδη του, καθώς επίσης και η πρόληψη και η θεραπευτική αντιμετώπιση του. Όσον αφορά το διατροφικό επίπεδο, η παρούσα εργασία έγκειται σε έρευνες που έχουν γίνει πάνω σε συγκεκριμένα ήδη τροφών, θρεπτικές ουσίες αλλά και διάφορα ήδη διατροφής τα οποία
προλαμβάνουν τον καρκίνο του δέρματος ή βοηθούν στη γενικότερη βελτίωση της υγείας του ανθρώπου καθώς επίσης και του δέρματος του. Σχετικά με το αισθητικό επίπεδο, δίνεται βάση στην αποκατάσταση του δέρματος και στην ανάπλαση του μετά από διάφορες επεμβατικές μεθόδους, οι οποίες πιθανόν
