The present Thesis on " FACTORY-MADE CONCRETE ACCORDING TO THE CONCRETE TECHNOLOGY REGULATION 2016 AND ITS IMPACT ON THE ENVIRONMENT" aims to present the production process of concrete according to the Concrete Technology Regulation (CTR)-2016, and the investigation for the production of ecological concrete, thus contributing to the protection of the environment, human health and the extraction of resources through the use of alternative fuels and recyclable materials. The following is a brief description of the thesis chapters: The first chapter presents the concrete production technology according to the CTR2016. Reference is made to the materials with which the concrete is made, to the concrete categories depending on the strength and the categories depending on the environmental actions. The concrete composition study is analyzed and the mechanical equipment of the unit and the delivery receipt of the product are described. The second chapter examines the impact of the cement and concrete production process on the environment. More specifically they are examined the energy consumption of these industries, the emissions of carbon dioxide and other pollutants and the pollution of water from the waste of the cement industry. Reference is also made to the extraction of aggregates and how it alters the physiognomy of the environment. In the third chapter, the possibilities of ecological concrete production are developed. It is examined a) the modification of the production process by reducing the energy using alternative fuels, b) the possibility of using recycled aggregates derived from demolition of old constructions as well as industrial waste. The fourth chapter examines the attitude and perceptions of the respondents to whom the questionnaires were sent, the results of the research are analyzed and they are depicted in diagrams and tables.
