STEM is a curriculum based on the idea of educating students in four special disciplines - science, technology, engineering and mathematics - in an interdisciplinary and applied approach. Instead of teaching the four disciplines as separate and distinct subjects, STEM incorporates them into a coherent learning model based on real applications. This dissertation makes an introduction to the impact that STEM education has on society in terms of the progress of science for the good of the general public, what central administrations burn to strengthen STEM education, cites sections of literature on parental attitude and students towards STEM education, mentions the basic principles and primary characteristics of the teacher who teaches STEM subjects. The second part presents the results of a survey in order to evaluate the current practices of STEM teachers regarding the way they organize teaching. In particular, the research explored areas such as: pedagogical approaches, the type of resources used by teachers and students to facilitate teaching and learning in STEM subjects, the use of ICT in the teaching process and the need for specialized training and education of teachers and their attitude towards students.
