Πως οι low cost αεροπορικές εταιρείες επηρεάζουν την κίνηση του αεροδρομίου της Χρυσούπολης (Bachelor thesis)

This Diploma Thesis attempts to examine how low cost airlines affect the traffic of Chrysoupoli Airport. Initially, the concept of tourism, the tourist product, the tourist demand, as well as the most important sizes related to tourism in Greece are studied, while then the low cost companies and their main characteristics are examined in detail. In particular, the profile of low-cost airline passengers is captured, as well as the relationship of such companies with the environment. The low cost companies at Chrysoupoli Airport and their impact on the tourist development of the wider area of Kavala-Thassos are examined separately.
Regarding the methodology that is applied, it is a bibliographic search in international databases of scientific journals, where they examine issues of tourism and especially air transport. Relevant books are also being used, as well as material from the Internet, so that all the information related to the case study under consideration can be obtained.

| Abstract: | Η παρούσα Διπλωματική Εργασία επιχειρεί να εξετάσει τον τρόπο με τον οποίο οι low cost αεροπορικές εταιρείες επηρεάζουν την κίνηση του αεροδρομίου της Χρυσούπολης. Αρχικά μελετάται η έννοια του τουρισμού, του τουριστικού προϊόντος, της τουριστικής ζήτησης, καθώς επίσης και τα σημαντικότερα μεγέθη που αφορούν τον τουρισμό στην Ελλάδα, ενώ στη συνέχεια εξετάζονται διεξοδικά οι εταιρείες χαμηλού κόστους και τα κυριότερα χαρακτηριστικά αυτών. Ειδικότερα, αποτυπώνεται το προφίλ των επιβατών αεροπορικών εταιρειών χαμηλού κόστους, καθώς επίσης και η σχέση των εταιρειών αυτού του είδους με το περιβάλλον. Ξεχωριστά εξετάζονται οι εταιρείες χαμηλού κόστους στο αεροδρόμιο της Χρυσούπολης και επίδραση που έχουν στην τουριστική ανάπτυξη της ευρύτερης περιοχής της Καβάλας-Θάσου.
Σχετικά με την μεθοδολογία που εφαρμόζεται πρόκειται για βιβλιογραφική αναζήτηση σε διεθνείς βάσεις επιστημονικών περιοδικών, όπου εξετάζουν ζητήματα τουρισμού και ιδίως αεροπορικών μεταφορών. Ακόμη, χρησιμοποιούνται σχετικά συγγράμματα, αλλά και υλικό από το διαδίκτυο, έτσι ώστε να ληφθούν όλες οι πληροφορίες που αφορούν την μελέτη περίπτωσης που εξετάζεται.
