Αισθητικές και θεραπευτικές παρεμβάσεις σε υδροθεραπευτήρια - Σπα (Bachelor thesis)

The aim of the present project was the presentation of the interventions-services that exist at a spa and the discrimination of them in aesthetic and therapeutic. The therapies-services of a spa are: massage, hydrotherapy, body and face treatments and more aesthetic services: hair removal, manicure, pedicure. The subcategory of each benefit provides historical data, general characteristics, purpose, technique and method of application, indications and contraindications, and results. Taking into account the information derived all from all spa
services and based on the results they provide, it is proven that they have therapeutic or aesthetic character respectively. Most of them seem to have double action, which means that they contribute to human health while giving an aesthetic effect.

| Abstract: | Σκοπός της παρούσας εργασίας ήταν η παρουσίαση των υπηρεσιών-παρεμβάσεων σε ένα υδροθεραπευτήριο-σπα και η διάκρισή τους σε αισθητικές και θεραπευτικές. Οι θεραπείες-παροχές ενός σπα είναι: η μάλαξη, η υδροθεραπεία, οι περιποιήσεις σώματος και προσώπου και οι επιπλέον παροχές αισθητικής: αποτρίχωση, μανικιούρ, πεντικιούρ. Στην υποκατηγορία της εκάστοτε παροχής αναφέρονται τα ιστορικά στοιχεία, τα γενικά χαρακτηριστικά, ο σκοπός, η τεχνική και ο τρόπος εφαρμογής, οι ενδείξεις και αντενδείξεις και τα αποτελέσματα της. Λαμβάνοντας υπόψη, τις πληροφορίες που αντλούνται για όλες τις υπηρεσίες σπα και δίνοντας βάση στα αποτελέσματα που προσφέρουν, αποδεικνύεται εάν αυτές διαθέτουν θεραπευτικό ή αισθητικό χαρακτήρα αντίστοιχα The aim of the present project was the presentation of the interventions-services that exist at a spa and the discrimination of them in aesthetic and therapeutic.
