The view that evaluation of educational work is necessary to improve the educational process is supported by a large number of educational theorists. In Greece, following the abolition of "inspection" in 1982, there was intense controversy among the stakeholders involved in the implementation of the evaluation, while all relevant laws passed to date have remained inactive. Quantitative research was carried out in the context of this reflection in the educational community. A small-scale research was selected as a method based on its purpose and subject by completing an electronic questionnaire on the views of the teachers of the Regional Unit of Thessaloniki in the Region of Central Macedonia for the evaluation of the educational work by the management bodies. The sample was randomly selected from the East Thessaloniki Primary Education List and consisted of 150 teachers of all specialties. The responses were, then, coded and followed by descriptive statistical data processing.
