This dissertation will deal with the development of medicines in theelectronic commerce. Initially, we will examine the meaning and the history of the e-commerce shaping the correct concept of it through the reference to past information.Then, we will examine to what extent the market is affected by the problem of the economic crisis which our country experiences nowadays.Moreover, we will refer to the significance of the term electronic commerce dealing with the characteristics of consumer’s behavior online, how it affects the current state of the e-commerce and in what forms we can separate it so that the marketing of e-commerce to achieve the increase of sales. However, in order this to be achieved, some stages should be followed hierarchically.Furthermore, we will analyze the requirements of an electronic shop and the steps on which we rely the correct promotion of the product.Consequently, we will define the e-commerce as a medium of exchange clarifying the ways and the electronic invoicing.In addition, we will cite the problems and the ambiguities of the electronic commerce as well as the legal framework designed for the human use and medicines’ sale online.Then, we will refer to the growth perspectives of the electronic commerce in Greece, to what extent the SEO helps the electronic commerce and to the distance market of medicines under the terms and conditions set by the European Union. We will also refer to the meaning- definition- of the digital media of the pharmaceutical marketing and the electronic promotion of the pharmaceutical industry as well as to the advantages, conditions, introduction, and to foundation and operation costs of the electronic pharmacy.We will mainly examine the definition, the dangers, the concerns and the differences of the electronic pharmacy as well as the pharmaceutical care to the relationship marketing.One more sector which we will deal with is the pharmaceutical marketing applied by the pharmaceutical companies which is addressed to all health professionals and principally the doctors. Furthermore, the pharmaceutical marketing is defined as the set of activities aimed to the selection, distribution, prescription and proper use of the pharmaceutical products which are aimed at human use.Finally, we will refer to the pharmaceutical care and the relationship marketing which consist the most useful tool of the modern pharmacist.
