Οι αεροπορικές μεταφορές στον ελληνικό τουρισμό , μελέτη περίπτωση : αεροπορική εταιρία Emirates (Bachelor thesis)
The research is based on bibliographic review and the specific work was developed in three chapters. Especially: The first chapter titled "Tourism" defines tourism and its theoretical approach is taken. The various forms and distinctions of tourism are presented. Moreover, the factors that contributed to the development of tourism are analyzed as the characteristics of the demand for tourist product are analyzed, while the criteria on which the tourist is based are chosen in order to choose the appropriate means of transport. The second chapter, titled "Air transport", presents aviation in relation to tourism, the planning of air transport, but also how much the aviation industry is affected in the economy. There are also the reasons for the spread of air transport and emphasis is placed on competition between airlines. At the same time, the development in the aviation sector is being considered, but reference is made to the contribution of aviation in Greece. In the third chapter titled "The presentation of emirates" the reader is informed about the historical background, the foundation of the company and its origin. The company's description is still being made today but it analyzes flights and passenger traffic. In addition, the Emirates fleet is being emphasized, the economic analysis providing financial information based on the Emirates segment. The Emirates SWOT analysis, human resources, passenger cabinets and competition in external control are also mentioned.
