The present work refers to the school climate and factors influencing it by emphasizing the role of the principal. The aim of the thesis is to investigate the views of teachers about the factors that affect the climate of a school and consequently the relationships between colleagues and its impact on the teaching and efficiency of the school organization. Initially, the term "school climate" will be clarified. It will become a description of the term and explain the importance it holds in the functioning and well-being of a school. In addition, the different types of school climate will be analyzed. Then we will explore the factors that affect the climate of a school organization. Particular emphasis will be placed on the role of the school principal. In the second part, the survey will be presented to teachers in the prefecture of Rodopi. Its purpose is to explore their views on the climate prevailing in the schools they work, the relationships that have been developed between the principal and the teachers and among the teachers.
