Today, youngsters are the generation of the so-called digital age. Society is undergoing rapid changes as a result of the development of technology that affects it at all levels, economic, social, cultural. Of course, the school community that is the miniature of the wider social community cannot be unaffected. Indeed, it can be said that the school is bound to follow developments and to prepare students for the use of new technologies for their benefit. The introduction of new technologies into education radically and constructively changes the educational landscape, ie the way of teaching, studying, learning, evaluating, participating, while preparing users for how to manage them fertile and beyond school boundaries. Interaction of the computer, especially with the individual, teacher and student, is immediate and improves the learning process. The ICT program in schools creates an educational environment, pluralistic and open to all. Especially for pupils who have special needs because of a disability or learning disability, information technology and wider supportive technological means can be a valuable educational tool - a helper of the learning process. Recognizing the above perspective, at a pan-European level, States have introduced IT teaching as a separate curriculum of the curriculum in schools, both in general and special. Concerns arise as to the proper use of technology and the degree of benefit of students, and therefore the need for a comprehensive policy and research is urgently needed in order for pupils in special education to benefit from the use of new technologies (Makris & Markou, 2015).
