Αξιοποίηση των ΤΠΕ στην εκπαιδευτική διαδικασία από τους εκπαιδευτικούς πρωτοβάθμιας εκπαίδευσης επιμορφωμένων στο Β επίπεδο (Master thesis)

The purpose of this paper is to study the views of primary school teachers, trained on the B
level, related to the exploitation of I.C.T in the teaching process and express their level of
satisfaction from their participation in this training program. It is an important issue, since one
of the main factors of the I.C.T’s entering into education is the teacher.
For the purpose of this research, questionnaires were sent to the trainees of B level and then
they were forwarded to the teachers (elementary + kindergarten) which they trained. 170
questionnaires were answered, without the number of the questionnaires that were send to the
teachers being known. The questionnaire was created via Google docs, it consists of by 28
closed type questions and the processing of the answers was done by SPSS program.
The results of the research have shown that teachers use the computer on the process of
education and that believe that the usage of I.C.T activates students and helps them develop
higher skills. After their B’ level training they feel skilled to use the I.C.T on the educational
process, to create teaching scenarios and choose for their students the appropriate software.
Also they believe that the training program of B level was interesting and innovative and
responded to their needs of obtaining knowledge related to the usage of I.C.T’s. The
kindergarten teachers seem to be having a more positive aspect from elementary teachers for
the exploitation of I.C.T in the teaching process and teachers with a higher level of education
use the computer in the classroom even more. The same was highlighted for women teachers,
who in contrary to other researches, seem to be using more the computers in class than men
do.
At the end of the paper there are suggestions for further investigation of the topic and for the
improvement of the content of b level training.
