This diploma thesis has examined the means available to IATA to achieve the safety of passengers at the airport, their luggage and the airport in general. IATA has experienced rapid growth over time as it is an integral part of air traffic. Each airport is important to be able to ensure the safety of its passengers and their baggages. For this reason IATA has adopted a big number of rules. An important factor is the time of picking up and picking up baggage, where this ensures a pleasant stay for the passenger at the airport. IATA's security measures have reduced incidents of terrorism that had developed earlier and continue to emerge over the years. These measures are applied by all airport security services and the staff working within the airport. IATA has established rules for all types of passengers but also for the items contained in their luggage, which can often be dangerous goods. These goods are rated and titled to ensure safety both within the aircraft and within the airport in general. Finally, the sorting, shrinking and restoration of luggage is an important process where the luggage is separated by destination and restored in case of loss or damage.
