How can Social Media provide to hospitality businesses the right tools in order to be advertised?. This is the question that we are going to answer through this paper. It is widely known, Social Media have conquered a big part in people’s lives and thus inside the marketing department of businesses. Through this paper we are willing to answer some simple questions about social media and simultaneously provide some valuable information about how can they be used in the marketing campaigns of hospitality businesses. Firstly, we will analyze the term social media, their evolution through time, their contributions in advertisement inside the hospitality businesses and the hospitality industry in general.In addition we will express the concerns of the hospitality industry in using social media as a way of advertisement .Furthermore, in the 2nd part of this paper, we will analyze the most important social media,such as Facebook, Youtube , Instagram and provide some ways of advertisement via them.Last but not least, we will mention and analyze some statistics analysis tools and their importance in the hospitality marketing department, the advantages and disadvantages of using Social Media as a way of advertisement.
