Προοπτικές ανάπτυξης του πράσινου τουρισμού στην Ελλάδα (Bachelor thesis)

Ντιαλόσι, Κρίσα

As mentioned above the title of this work is The Prospects of Green Tourism Development in Greece. More and more people aim for a life full of travelling experiences. But there is something that interest them a lot, is the protection of the environment which is linked directly with their travelling. But why are they so interested in that? The purpose of this work is to expose this mobilization’s problem which is not a small one at all as it has led to new types of tourism. Also its purpose is to investigate the development of Green tourism in Greece so far and to make suggestions for further development for the future, since it is imperative to do so. Initially is provided a detailed definition of Green tourism through a variety of sources. Next for the most part of the work, the impact of this profitable activity on the environment in Greece and other places on the world will be analyzed thoroughly. Finally interesting and innovative suggestions are given to minimize serious environmental impacts. In order to prepare this work, a secondary survey was carried out using third party sources. The information on the work was drawn from scientific books and articles; this was made possible through the Heal-link, a Greek Academic Libraries link. In addition, articles that were published on the Internet were also used. Research has shown that although the effects of so many years are large, there can still be combined efforts by companies active in this economic field, by tourists and also by societies, in order to have a cleaner environment and a more sustainable and profitable growth of tourism.
