Φυσικοθεραπευτική αποκατάσταση σε ασθενείς που υποβληθήκαν σε εγχείρηση αορτοστεφανιαίας παράκαμψης (Bypass) (Bachelor thesis)

In this work we will study the role of physiotherapy in the rehabilitation of cardiac patients suffering from coronary artery disease and have undergone coronary artery bypass surgery (by pass). The responsibilities of the physiotherapist started before entering the patient in the operating room in order to prepare properly (physically and psychologically) for the process that will follow. Then soon come to the intensive unit, mainly applied breathing exercises and gentle mobilization that continues more powerfully when transferred to the ward in the context of an ongoing recovery program that includes the activation of the patient, with strength training and counseling. The cardiac rehabilitation does not stop at the hospital, but continues in the home patient exit since now the patient should be exercising daily and intensively. We will then see all these phases separately, and the importance of physiotherapy in the prevention of coronary heart disease.

| Abstract: | Σε αυτή την εργασία θα μελετήσουμε τον ρόλο της φυσικοθεραπείας στην αποκατάσταση των καρδιολογικών ασθενών που πάσχουν από στεφανιαία νόσο και έχουν υποβληθεί σε χειρουργική επέμβαση αορτοστεφανιαίας παράκαμψης (by pass). Οι αρμοδιότητες του φυσικοθεραπευτή ξεκινάνε πριν από την είσοδο του ασθενή στο χειρουργείο, ώστε να προετοιμαστεί κατάλληλα (σωματικά αλλά και ψυχολογικά ) για την διαδικασία που θα επακολουθήσει.. Έπειτα αμέσως μόλις βγει στην εντατική μονάδα, εφαρμόζονται κυρίως αναπνευστικές ασκήσεις και ήπια κινητοποίηση η οποία συνεχίζεται πιο δυναμικά όταν μεταφερθεί στο θάλαμο νοσηλείας, στα πλαίσια ενός εξελισσόμενου προγράμματος αποθεραπείας το οποίο περιλαμβάνει τη δραστηριοποίηση του ασθενή ,με μυϊκή ενδυνάμωση και συμβουλευτική παρέμβαση. Η καρδιακή αποκατάσταση δεν σταματάει στο νοσοκομείο, αλλά συνεχίζει και κατά την έξοδο του ασθενή στο σπίτι αφού τώρα πια ο ασθενής θα πρέπει να γυμνάζεται εντατικά και καθημερινά. Θα δούμε λοιπόν όλες αυτές τις φάσεις χωριστά, αλλά και την σημασία της φυσικοθεραπείας στη πρόληψη της στεφανιαίας νόσου.
