The purpose of this project is to present two specific juvenile sea bream and sea bass both in their morphology and their growth environment and in their production on fish farms, and more specifically to the owner's facilities George Theodorou of Euryale company E. EE, placed in the Amvrakikos Gulf in the area of Menidi. The station was established in 1986 and operated initially as a fish hatchery for breeding egg incubation, hatching, pre-fattening, fattening and sale of both species juveniles. In recent years, it works only for the last two stages, for lack of money is impossible to maintain. The procedure followed by the sale includes many checks on the water, fish and their food both from the state before being offered to consumers and from the company itself to ensure the quality and populations reared. The breeding season of spawning begins in the tanks, located on land over a period of optimal conditions. Below is the collection of eggs and transfer them to larger hatching tanks. When undergoing nurseries for 50-55 days fed with special live foods such as rotifer, Artemia and seaweed and dry food in order to prepare for the exclusive feeding with the last stage of fattening. The fry then reaching the ideal size vaccinated to protect against bacteria Vibrio and Pasteurella and sorted in order to place depending on the trend of development in different fattening cages in the sea until you complete this step. After obtaining the ideal body weight in a given year, caught and packed in a special place until sale to traders who will sell to consumers. The product is necessary to carry labels describing full features.
