Οσφυαλγία μη ειδικής αιτιολογίας σε γυναίκες. Θεραπεία και παράγοντες κινδύνου (Bachelor thesis)

Λαζαρίδου, Έβελιν-Δήμητρα

The subject of this thesis is the study of non-specific low back pain in adult women and the emergence of the risk factors and the appropriate treatment. The survey was conducted in Thessaloniki between December 2016 and January 2017. It involved 46 women with an average age of 38.7 years, who were asked to answer some questions. The count of responses has shown that potential risk factors for the occurrence of non-specific low back pain in women are the posture at work, the daily housework, the frequent weight lifting, the period of menstruation and pregnancy. Physiotherapy is defined as the most effective treatment. Lastly, emphasis is placed on the importance of preventing low back pain and avoiding possible recurrences.
