Θρεπτικές ουσίες ζωοτροφών (υδατάνθρακες, πρωτεΐνες, λιπίδια) (Bachelor thesis)

Οτατζίογλου, Ζωή

Feed nutrients are divided into two major categories: organic and inorganic. From the first category, this paper deepens to carbohydrates, proteins and lipids. Of course such separation, both among themselves and with other substances not deal with is not easy in the following pages. The main organic compound is carbon, which generates millions of compounds with other elements, each of which has various properties and roles in animals. Common feature of the compounds investigated is their ultimate purpose to produce energy in organizations and to perpetuate their existence. In the light of this criterion, the paper consists of four chapters. The first chapter is introductory and refers to the feed nutrients and in physiology of digestion of feedstuffs in livestock. The second chapter refers to carbohydrates. Particular emphasis is given on the physical and chemical properties and the characteristics of the basic carbohydrates. Concerning carbohydrate digestion in livestock, detailed information is presented in the last subsection of the second chapter. The third chapter discusses the composition, properties, characteristics and usage of proteins from animals. Similar data for lipids are presented in the fourth chapter. This study concludes with a statement of the main conclusions as they emerged during the elaboration.
