Εφαρμογή σε Android για Προβολή, εισαγωγή και αξιολόγηση Ξενοδοχείων. (Bachelor thesis)

This thesis, was prepared for the Department of Information Technology, Alexander Technological Educational Institute of Thessaloniki, under the supervision of Professor Euclid Keremopoulos. The aim of the project is to design and develop application on Android device that shows hotel locations on a map (Google Maps), displays the selected hotel’s information, reviews and ratings from users of the application and the photographs. It also enables users to insert a new hotel. The application of this thesis functions on the Android operating system platform and uses the Android SDK, the Google Maps API for map functions, a relational Oracle 11g database to store all data needed and a Restful webservice for the transfer of data from the android devices to the database and vice versa. The Technologies used are widely recognized and provide a good knowledge that allows to develop fully functional and useful applications used in everyday life.
