Food supplements are foods that are intended to supplement the normal diet and which are concentrated sources of nutrients or other substances with a nutritional or physiological effect, alone or in combination. The aim of the research is to investigate the perceptions, choices and practices to be followed by consumers in our country, which are associated with the "food supplements". For the recording of the Greek consumer views on food supplements the method of questionnaire was used. A total of 1,600 questionnaires were distributed, 400 in Evia, 400 in Thessaloniki, 400 in Ioannina and 400 in Komotini. The statistical processing of data through the program SPSS 20. By processing the data found a correlation between the use of supplements and sex, between the principle approval of supplements and level of education, between the use of dietary supplements and knowledge supplements, and between the recognition of approved ingredients and level education. Finally, there is a correlation between the conception if balanced diet offers all the nutrients that body needs with exercise frequency and the use of supplements.
