ABSTRACT Introduction: Diabetes mellitus (SC) is a disorder in which a high blood glucose concentration occurs in the patient. Diabetes is due either to the fact that the pancreas does not produce enough insulin or to the fact that the body cells do not respond properly to the insulin produced Purpose: The main purpose of this research is to record the knowledge and everyday life of patients with diabetes mellitus. The research questions of the research are: Methodology: 24 questionnaires were answered by patients following medication and after three months the values of sugar and HbAic were recorded. Also, 18 questionnaires were answered by patients following medication and diet. After five months, a second questionnaire was replied to compare HbAic's sugar, HBAic, patient's knowledge and feelings. Results: In patients taking dietary medication, the HbAc value, sugar and their weight after five months declined in all patients, as opposed to those who received only medication. Conclusions: Research has shown that patients who have followed except medication and diet have seen a greater improvement in their HbAc sugar, their weight, as well as the knowledge and daily routine of patients compared to patients who were only receiving medication.
