Ανακατασκευή ομιλίας με χρήση μερικής πληροφορίας (Bachelor thesis)

The aim of this project is the speech reconstruction using partial information and specifically, using the phase information of the speech signal. The existing models of the human vocal production are described and analyzed. Problems of corruption that may occur in speech signals are presented and discussed. The iterative algorithm of Hayes et al., and the short Fourier Transform (STFT) are introduced and used on distorted speech data, successfully, using Matlab programming language. Finally, the results are presented and discussed. A brief discussion about possible future studies is also included.
