Αίτια πρόωρου τοκετού και πρόωρα νεογνά (Bachelor thesis)

Aim: of the present study is to make a bibliographic review of preterm birth and complications of premature neonate. There is a detailed presentation of what is premature childbirth, what are the causes of an early childbirth and how a premature birth is being treated. The following are the problems that can arise in an early infant and what their consequences for the future health of the child.
Materials and Methods:The materials of this study were taken by the International, Greek literature and arthrography but also from the Internet.
Results:The bibliographic review is looking for causes that lead to a premature delivery and avoiding them to reduce complications in both mother and infant during preterm labor. Also, midwives must have the appropriate knowledge to recognize the signs and symptoms of premature labor and to look for the way they will act. Finally, the role of the midwife is very important in preventing various complications
Conclusions:Early childbirth has received large rates of incidence nowadays. The midwife plays an active role in recognizing and preventing problems that can lead to premature birth but also in supporting pregnant psychologically by giving her the appropriate advice and helping her achieve a smooth childbirth.

| Abstract: | ΕΡΙΛΗΨΗ
Σκοπός:της παρούσας εργασίας, είναι να γίνει μια βιβλιογραφική ανασκόπηση σχετικά με το πρόωρο τοκετό και τις επιπλοκές του πρόωρου νεογνού. Υπάρχει αναλυτική παρουσίαση τι είναι ο πρόωρος τοκετός,ποια είναι τα αίτια και πως αντιμετωπίζεται ένας πρόωρο τοκετός. Στη συνέχεια παρουσιάζονται τα προβλήματα που μπορούν να δημιουργηθούν σε ένα πρόωρο νεογνό και ποιες οι συνέπειες στην μελλοντική του υγεία.
Υλικό-Μέθοδος: Το υλικό της εργασίας πάρθηκε από τη Διεθνή, την Ελληνική βιβλιογραφία και αρθρογραφία αλλά και από το Διαδίκτυο.
Αποτελέσματα: της βιβλιογραφικής ανασκόπησης είναι η αναζήτηση αιτιών που οδηγούν σε ένα πρόωρο τοκετό και η αποφυγή αυτών για να μειωθούν οι επιπλοκές τόσο στη μητέρα όσο και στο νεογνό κατά τη διάρκεια του πρόωρου τοκετού. Επίσης οι μαίες πρέπει να έχουν τις κατάλληλες γνώσεις ώστε να αναγνωρίσουν τα σημεία και τα συμπτώματα του πρόωρου τοκετού, καθώς και να αναζητούν τον τρόπο που θα ενεργήσουν. Τέλος ο ρόλος της μαίας είναι πολύ σημαντικός στη πρόληψη διάφορων επιπλοκών.
Συμπεράσματα: πρόωρος τοκετός έχει λάβει μεγάλα ποσοστά εμφάνισης στις μέρες μας. Η μαία διαδραματίζει ενεργό ρόλο στην αναγνώριση και την πρόληψη προβλημάτων που μπορούν να οδηγήσουν σε πρόωρο τοκετό αλλά και στο να υποστηρίζει την έγκυο ψυχολογικά δίνοντάς της τις κατάλληλες συμβουλές και βοηθώντας την να επιτύχει ένα ομαλό τοκετό.
