Δήμου, Σοφία/ Κουνάδη, Ζωή

The working environment is the main cause of human exposure to chemicals, physical and biological factors negatively impacting health. Professional dermatoses are defined as a pathological condition of the skin that is directly related to the environment in which the person works. There are several harmful factors in our work such as substances, parasites, etc. The factors are divided into primary, etiological or complementary. Professional dermatoses are dangerous so we need to know them in order to avoid them through our knowledge. One of these professions is ours, beauticians who come in contact with various chemical factors which can cause dermatopathy. Apart from the aesthetics, there are plenty of professions exposed to various irritants, without knowing if they are harmful to someone’s health. Therefore for better protection and safety, everyone should be aware of all the harmful factors at work
