Σχεδίαση και ανάπτυξη εφαρμογής e-learning με επαυξημένη πραγματικότητα (Bachelor thesis)

Παπαδημητρίου, Χρυσούλα

This thesis aims to explore the importance of e-learning and augmented reality in education. Applications that have been created by combining a recreational and educational character with children's minds have grown considerably, as children from a very young age use mobiles, tablets and computers. Through an application that will help young children and / or people who do not know mathematics or want to "sharpen" their minds to perform some easy maths, the functionality of e-learning and augmented reality will appear. This application is called "First Mathematics" and combines these two technologies. Application users will be able to solve easy mathematical operations in the form of questions by counting their correct and wrong answers. In terms of augmented reality, the user, with the help of a target image, will monitor the execution of a mathematical act. The implementation of this application will become with Android Studio, since smartphones tend to replace computers, since they have become an integral part of the daily life of many users and even from an early age. The augmented reality piece will be implemented in the Unity technology environment - an integrated gaming development environment - with the help of the Vuforia augmented reality software development kit
