International reflection on the effectiveness of modern educational systems, the scientific development of theoretical methods and the exploitation of new technologies in teaching has profoundly influenced the processes of modern education. The traditional role of the headmaster and the teacher in the school is redefined, based on the principles of leadership, quality and diversification of teaching methods. Quality assurance in school work affects school culture by posing the basic question we are exploring: Can new teaching methods and engagement of all form a culture of quality in school work and, if not, what are the causes that hinder it? The first part of the thesis presents the concepts of leadership, teaching, differentiation, school climate, culture, Total Quality, which make up the theoretical background of our research. In the research part, methodologically, quantitative research is followed with tools like the questionnaire and the interview to gather teachers and students answers on the introduction of new teaching methods in the Greek school (their effectiveness in learning, the effect on student behavior), the quality and interaction they exercise within the school. It also looks at school leadership and the role of the headmaster in introducing differentiated methods and quality. Finally, the causes that hinder the improvement of quality are examined, in relation to the introduction of renewed teachings methods and answers( by students and teachers) confirm findings of previously published studies, and record the necessary interventions through the adoption of new measures by the State
