Φυσικοθεραπευτική αντιμετώπιση μετά από ολική και ανάστροφη ολική αρθροπλαστική του ώμου (Bachelor thesis)

Κόσσυφα, Ειρήνη – Μαρία

The joint of shoulder is one of the most important and the most complex joints of the human body because of its structure and functionality. The morphology of this joint is such that it allows a large range of motion in all directions which makes it quite vulnerable to injuries and damage. An option to improve the quality of joint motion after injury or chronic damage is to replace it with a crafty prosthesis with the invasive technique of total or sometimes reverse total arthroplasty. In this study we analyze the reasons why somebody should choose this surgical procedure, the benefits of replacing the joint with a healthy one and the physiotherapeutic rehabilitation program that the patient will follow to return to his everyday life in the best possible way
