This thesis is about the cataloging and the classification of notarial acts between 1931 and 1939. For this to be made clearer to the user, there first has to be some clarification. Firstly, there is a historical flashback, so the reader can understand under what circumstances the contracts were signed. Afterwards, some terms are explained, which are regarded as important for the Science of Archives and this specific assignment. In addition, the issue of personal data and copyright is discussed. Finally, the contracts that I processed are presented. The main purpose of this assignment is to ensure that the archived material that has been processed remains accessible, and that the information contained in the salvaged contracts becomes available.
