Διατροφική εκτίμηση και αξιολόγηση καρδιαγγειακών ασθενών (Bachelor thesis)

When patients are hospitalized for heart surgery (bypass or valve) and after the measurements are done, changes in body weight and body composition are observed. Many patients are already undernourished when they are admitted to the hospital, thus burdening the condition after surgery. The objective of this research is the measurement of the patients of the AHEPA Hospital. before and after heart surgery and comparison of their results. The purpose is the assessment and evaluation of the nutritional status and the undernourishment of patients regarding the effect of both intervention and their health problem. The sample of the study was 50 patients aged 51-82 years, of whom 13 were women and 37 were men. The investigation was carried out at the General Hospital of ACHEPA. in Thessaloniki. MUST, NRS-2002 and MNA questionnaires were completed to assess patient hypnosis before surgery. Followed by a series of successive measurements both before and after surgery, such as: weight, height, triceps, hand, waist, hip, and arm measurements. Finally, bioelectric resistance measurement (BIA) was performed to determine differences in fat-light, water and phase angle.

| Abstract: | Κατά την εισαγωγή των ασθενών στο νοσοκομείο για την επέμβαση καρδιάς( by-pass ή βαλβίδας) και μετά το πέρας των μετρήσεων παρατηρούνται αλλαγές στο βάρος και στη σύσταση του σώματος. Πολλοί ασθενείς βρίσκονται ήδη σε υποθρεψία κατά την εισαγωγή τους στο νοσοκομείο επιβαρύνοντας έτσι την κατάστασή τους μετά την επέμβαση. Στόχος αυτής της έρευνας είναι η μέτρηση των ασθενών του νοσοκομείου Α.Χ.Ε.Π.Α. πριν καθώς και μετά την επέμβαση καρδιάς και η σύγκριση των αποτελεσμάτων τους. Σκοπός είναι η εκτίμηση και αξιολόγηση της διατροφικής κατάστασης και υποθρεψίας των ασθενών σχετικά με την επίδραση τόσο της επέμβασης όσο και του προβλήματος υγείας τους. Το δείγμα της έρευνας ήταν 50 ασθενής ηλικίας 51-82 ετών, από τους οποίους 13 ήταν γυναίκες και 37 ήταν άντρες. Η διεξαγωγή της έρευνας έγινε στο γενικό νοσοκομείο Α.Χ.Ε.Π.Α. στη Θεσσαλονίκη. Πραγματοποιήθηκε συμπλήρωση ερωτηματολογίων MUST,NRS-2002 και MNA για την αξιολόγηση της υποθρεψίας των ασθενών πριν το χειρουργείο. Ακολούθησε μια σειρά από διαδοχικές μετρήσεις τόσο πριν όσο και μετά την επέμβαση όπως : μέτρηση βάρους, ύψους, δερματοπτυχής τρικέφαλου, δύναμης χεριού ,περίμετρος μέσης, ισχίου και βραχίονα. Τέλος πραγματοποιήθηκε μέτρηση βιοηλεκτρικής αντίστασης (ΒΙΑ) για να προσδιοριστούν οι διαφορές της λιπώδους-άλιπης μάζας, νερού και phase angle.
