The diploma thesis, titled Hypertension of Pregnancy, presents through articles of international and Greek literature all those situations which place a mother and a fetus in a dangerous position, in case the mother shows hypertension. In particular, the definitions of chronic hypertension, pre-eclampsia, eclampsia and HELLP syndrome are presented and their symptoms, their path physiology and the ways to deal with them are analyzed.
