| heal.abstract | Η χημική απολέπιση είναι μια διαδικασία που βελτιώνει την εμφάνιση του δέρματος, βασιζόμενη στην ιδέα της απομάκρυνσης της εξωτερικής στιβάδας της επιδερμίδας, την κεράτινη στιβάδα. Σε αυτή τη θεραπεία ένα χημικό διάλυμα τοποθετείται στο δέρμα , το οποίο δέρμα στη συνέχεια εμφανίζει φουσκάλες και ξεφλουδίζει. Το νέο δέρμα που εμφανίζεται είναι λείο και λιγότερο ρυτιδωμένο. Η χημική απολέπιση μπορεί να εφαρμοστεί στο πρόσωπο, το λαιμό και τα χέρια. Είναι κατάλληλη για την μείωση των λεπτών ρυτίδων γύρω από τα μάτια και το στόμα, των ρυτίδων σε κατεστραμμένα από τον ήλιο δέρματα, την βελτίωση ουλών και ορισμένων μορφών ακμής καθώς και των δυσχρωμιών του δέρματος. Μετά από μια τέτοια θεραπεία το δέρμα ευαισθητοποιείται περισσότερο στον ήλιο, επομένως η χρήση αντηλιακού είναι απαραίτητη καθημερινώς για μήνες. Σε γενικές γραμμές οι ιδανικοί υποψήφιοι για τη θεραπεία είναι τα άτομα με ανοιχτόχρωμο δέρμα και μαλλιά. | el |
| heal.abstract | The chemical peel of the skin is a procedure that can improve the skin's appearance based on the idea of removing the outer layer of the epidermis, the stratum corneum. In this treatment, a chemical solution is applied to the skin, which makes it "blister" and eventually peel off. The new skin is usually smoother and less wrinkled than the old skin. Chemical peels can be done on the face, neck, or hands. They can reduce fine lines under the eyes and around the mouth, treat wrinkles caused by sun damage and aging, improve the appearance of mild scars, treat certain types of acne, reduce age spots, freckles, and dark patches (melasma) due to pregnancy or taking birth control pills. After a chemical peel, skin is temporarily more sensitive to the sun, so sunscreen use is recommended every day for several months.
