| heal.abstract | Οι οικογένειες, τα σχολεία και οι κοινότητες συμβάλουν με μοναδικούς και συμπληρωματικούς τρόπους στη διαδικασία μάθησης του παιδιού. Οι γονείς που έχουν υποστηρικτικό ρόλο στην εκπαίδευση των παιδιών τους διαδραματίζουν ένα σημαντικό ρόλο στη βελτίωση της σχολικής τους επίδοσης και της συμπεριφοράς. Επιπλέον, οι νέες τεχνολογίες προσφέρουν πληθώρα δυνατοτήτων για αξιοποίησή τους έτσι ώστε οι γονείς να εμπλέκονται ενεργά στην εκπαίδευση των παιδιών τους. Η παρούσα έρευνα, μέσα από τη χρήση ερωτηματολογίου, συγκέντρωσε πληροφορίες σχετικά με την πρόσβαση και την εξοικείωση των γονέων με την τεχνολογία, το βαθμό και τους τρόπους εμπλοκής τους στην εκπαίδευση και τα τεχνολογικά μέσα και τρόπους που χρησιμοποιούν στην επικοινωνία τους με το σχολείο. Οι συμμετέχοντες έχουν παιδιά που φοιτούν στην πρωτοβάθμια και δευτεροβάθμια εκπαίδευση στην Ελλάδα. Τα αποτελέσματα δείχνουν ότι οι Έλληνες γονείς έχουν σχεδόν πλήρη πρόσβαση και πολύ καλή εξοικείωση με την τεχνολογία, αλλά παρόλο που σχεδόν όλοι χρησιμοποιούν το διαδίκτυο, τις έξυπνες και άλλες συσκευές σύγχρονης τεχνολογίας, ακόμη εμπλέκονται στην εκπαίδευση των παιδιών τους με πιο παραδοσιακούς τρόπους και δεν υπάρχουν ενδείξεις μιας αμφίδρομης επικοινωνίας μεταξύ αυτών και του σχολείου | el |
| heal.abstract | Families, schools and communities contribute in unique and complementary ways to a child’s learning process. Parents who take on a supportive role in their children's education play an important role in improving their achievement and behavior. Moreover, modern technological means offer ample opportunities towards enhancing parental involvement in their children’s education. The present study collected information by means of a questionnaire concerning the parents’ access to and acquaintance with various technological means, the degree and ways in which they participate in their children’s education, as well as the technological means they use when communicating with school personnel. The participants included parents whose children attend primary and secondary schools around Greece. The results indicate that Greek parents have access to the internet and to various means of technology and are well acquainted with their use. However, the present study concluded that despite the fact that almost all the participants of the sample use the internet, smart phones and other modern devices, they still become involved in their children’s education in more traditional ways, and there is no evidence of an interactive relationship between them and the school personnel | en |
