The purpose of this study, is to study the urgent situations in obstetrics, exclusively in labor and delivery. The mechanism of normal vaginal birth will be studied, as well as the management of conditions such as precipitous labor, operative vaginal delivery and abnormal lies, such as the breech position. As the incidence of multiple pregnancies is getting increased, the incidence of vaginal birth of twins gets increased, which can lead to many complications. Afterward, will be present emergencies that threaten the life of the fetus, such as fetal distress, umbilical cord prolapse, continuous abdominal pain and shoulder dystocia, a condition that may be threatening to the mother as well, due to the hemorrhage. Thereafter, we will study the factors that lead to an emergency c- section and the associated risks by this surgery. In the end, there will be a reference to eclampsia and eclamptic seizures, who are responsible for 1 in 10 women's deaths in the global birthplace.
