This study, which was conducted within the framework of a dissertation on "Pregnancy Induced hypertension-PIH", includes the recording of a set of conditions that are included in the disease. Hypertensive disease has been known since the 18th century and has received various names from, such as seizures of pox, toxinemia, pre-eclampsia, eclampsia and albuminuria. Within the help of bibliographic review, mild and chronic gestational hypertension, pre-eclampsia, HELLP syndrome and eclampsia are extensively reported and analyzed. The aim of the dissertation is to collect and record the current data over the subject, as well as the appropriate approach to the health professionals.
